December 20 2009 - Happy Ho-Ho-Ho to you all
2009 was a year of ups and downs but we are extremely exited over the recent "upswing" in interest of what we are doing. Our last two shows Trailer Apocalypse and Night of the Living Dead were big hits for the company and we we plan on making the few shows we have for 2010 count. Look for some big time shockers right outta the gate in January. We love you guys
October 2 2009 - Vagrancy/Grimbrothers Kings of the Slackers
First of all I must apologize for the lack of updates to the vagrancy films webpage. Between the Festival of Fear/4 Year Show/Drive in Show and the rush to complete Tales from the Pussy Pound, it's been a busy few months.
Night of the Living Dead will be our last 35mm event in London Ontario until at least 2010. That being said we are looking into holding smaller 16mm shows to tide you guys over until then. Our first 16mm show is October 30 2009

JUNE 20 2009 - London Ontario's Best Video Store Cinema City is Closing
The influence this store had on me was incredible. 8 Times outta 10 I could call asking for some fucked up flick and they had it for rent. Cinema City started back in the early 80s and has seen it all. Beta, CED, Laserdisc, VHS and of course DVD. Vagrancy and Grimbrothers bought a shit load of these cassette gems and will be offering them at BLOW OUT prices at FOF.

January 5 2009 - Two power players in the world of Exploitation team up with Vagrancy Films for Grindhouse Gala Show April 4 2009 in Cleveland Ohio
First of all..I am always a geek first, business man second so when we finally got conformation that this show was 100% I could barely contain myself. Klubb Super 8 Sweden, Synapse Films and Vagrancy will be holding a 35mm screening of ANITA starring cult icon actress Christina Lindberg. Now on any given day this would be drop dead news in it's own right but Christina Lindberg herself will be in the theatre in person to answer questions about her films and meet her fans. Christina will also be signing autographs from April 3-5 at the world famous Cinema Wasteland Convention. More details in our FEATURE PRESENTATION SECTION
December 28 2008 - More Surprises from the Pussy Pound universe.
Honest to goodness real production has started on a prequel short that takes place in the wild and wacky Pussy Pound universe. Authentic real full bush is being grown in as we speak. All daisy razors have been barred from certain personal address' in the Forest City. Are you ready for the debut of DOKTOR POP-N-ENDO & HANSEL HARTLEIB ? Production of this short is the primary reason Vagrancy Films has ceased holding any Grindhouse events for the time being.

After paying for the cinema rental we raised just over $700.00 for Charity for original Vagrancy creator Cliff Mcintrye who passed away from Cancer in September 2008. As many of you know this was a surprise mystery screening where fans had to pay only 1 dollar to see a reel deal vagrancy event. We were truly touched how many of you actually showed up and paid well over the posted door price or sent others to pay even if you could not make it. All of this just to support a true pioneer of the London Ontario scene.
On the other side of the coin we were also truly horrified at the the amount of people who expected change from a toonie, or original old school first generation vagrancy fans who took a pass on the gig all together. People who actually knew and hung with Cliff personally...Perhaps the $1.00 price was too high for you. Perhaps we will see you again the next time I offer cash prizes for costumes or free weekends ( all expenses paid ) in Toronto. Speaking of Toronto you out of town friends of Cliff are excused from this rant...LOL

JULY 8 2008 - Aug 23 Toronto Super Show -
Vagrancy Films and Ban 1 Productions will be presenting TRAILER APOCALYPSE live on the big screen August 23 2008 in Toronto Ontario. TRAILER APOCALYPSE will feature the CRAZIEST, RAUNCHIEST, ROWDY movie prevues of all time. All the bases will be covered T&A, Caged Ladies, Euro Horror, Martial Arts, Spaghetti's etc. For those of you not familiar with Ban 1 they are the crazy fuckers behind the legendary 42nd Street Forever DVDs and have also produced the mandatory classics Smut Palace Insanity, and Grindhouse Universe. These guys pack some serious firepower...add some of Vagrancy's own heavy hitters and you end up with one helluva nites worth of entertainment. No digital bull shit..THIRTY 5&2M's BUT IT DON'T END THERE!! On July 12 Vagrancy Films will be announcing a 2nd BAD ASS Reel Deal 35mm Gargantua that will leave you gasping. Vagrancy Films is busy going through the analog archives to have volume three ready for August 22. If completed on time you will be able to score all three volumes in this sleazy trilogy for $10.00 each or all three for $25.00
JULY 1 2008 - Can a vagrant be in two cities at the same time ? -
Vagrancy Films will be in Toronto and in London Ontario playing Ilsa the Tigress of Siberia ( Toronto Revue Cinema, and Andy Warhol's Dracula ( London Ontario Rainbow ) This will be our last London Ontario show until September 2008 when we return for our three year anniversary screening. This will also give us time to focus on our upcoming appearance at Rue Morgue's Festival of Fear
MAY 11 2008 - Southern Ontario Canada goes Zombie Loco -
Lucio Fulci's ZOMBIE sent back to the vaults. You snooze ya freakin' loose. Both Ontario screenings went over very well and fans went plum loco. Thanks to Canadian rights owner Ambassador Film for arranging for the print to come over from Europe.

Fellow London promotion "GRIMBROTHERS ENTERTAINMENT" have been extremely busy as of late constructing a palatial new office space in the heart of Downtown London. Their logic for this new move is unclear at the moment but word has it that the tall one stumbled upon a cinematic archive somewhere on the fringe of Hamilton. Vagrancy will be watching this story VERY CLOSELY
MARCH 31 2008 - Vagrancy Films returns to the 2008 Rue Morgue's FESTIVAL OF FEAR
In August 2007 Vagrancy Films was a part of horror history when we presented DEMONS 2 @ The Royal. Well after some serious consideration Vagrancy Films WILL BE BACK in full force with not only a screening but rather a table of merch. It is still very unclear at this time if our screening will be "officially sanctioned" by the con, or an off campus event, but rest assured carnage will be shown in Toronto that weekend on the big screen. JUST IN...Vagrancy and our crew of deviant misfits will be staying right in the Ying & Yang. Book your room and party like it's Two Thousand Zero Zero Party Over...Oooops Outta Time.
